Story behind
Long ago, there was a hunter named Budha Subba who enjoyed playing and hunting with his sister using a slingshot on the hill. One day, while aiming at crows, Budha Subba accidentally hit the tip of a bamboo tree with his slingshot, and it never grew back. Feeling sorry for what happened, Budha Subba decided to quit hunting altogether. He then buried his slingshot and turned to meditation.
